Putting up a bigger sail or casting a bigger net makes sense. More surface area means more chances for speed or fish. Right?
The same appears to be true in life. More activity should equal more success. Right?
But is that true?
Everything has a point of diminishing returns. At some point, more sail is too much sail. The boat will stop going faster. Too much net in the water risks the entire catch. Energy exerted in the wrong direction . . . you get the idea.
More energy and activity is good, until it isn’t. Find your balance.
